Introduction

Welcome to the Coding Competition! This document provides essential instructions, rules, and information to ensure your participation is smooth and successful. Please read this carefully before the competition.

General Information

Date and Time: 12-Feb-2025 at 12:00 pm (Arrival time: 11:30 am)
Team Entrance: Starts at 11:30 am
Venue: CS-Labs, Department of Computer Science, UET Lahore
Duration: 3 Hours

Eligibility

Participants must be university students.
Participants must present a valid identity to receive their credentials.
Prior registration is mandatory. Unregistered participants will not be permitted.

Competition Format

The problems will consist of the following categories:

Beginner: 3 Problems
Intermediate: 4 Problems
Advanced: 3 Problems

The competition will have a single round. The participant with the maximum points will be declared the winner.

Rules and Regulations

Code of Conduct

Maintain professionalism and integrity.
Any form of cheating, including tab switching or attempting to bypass the software, will result in disqualification.

Coding Environment

Participants may use the following programming languages: C++, Java, Python.
The competition will be held on custom software.

Software Details

The competition software interface includes:

Left Side: Problem statement display.
Top-Right Section: A code editor resembling Visual Studio Code for writing solutions.
Bottom Section: Separate areas for providing input and viewing output.
Participants can submit solutions only after all visible test cases pass. The solution will then be evaluated against hidden test cases.
