Idea Competition

Do you have an innovative idea that makes difference and can strengthen the development of a sustainable software  industry? Then compete for prize money to realize your idea. Together we take it further, and make the industry and the world better!

In ITEC23 idea competition we look for innovative ideas that can strengthen the Software industry. The competition is a unique opportunity to present your idea and thereby be given the opportunity to realize it. An expert jury chooses the eight most innovative ideas that gets to be presented for the jury and audience.

Number of Participants:  one to four

Fee per team:  2000 Rs. Per Team

Target Participants:  50 teams approx.

Prize Money:

First Prize: 15000

Second Prize: 10000

Third Prize: 5000

Round 1 Location:  Auditorium

Round 2 Location:  N12

Requirements for Idea Development Document:

  • The abstract should be in IEEE format
  • The abstract should contain
    • Introduction
    • Detailed problem statement
    • Objectives
    • Literature survey
    • Problems with existing systems
    • Proposed methodology (block diagram, algorithm, flowchart)
    • Novelty/innovativeness in the proposed solution
    • Hardware/software requirements
    • Photo proof of the project
    • References

General Rules:

  • Each team can demonstrate only one project.
  • Participants cannot be a part of more than one team.
  • All participants of round 1 will receive a participation certificate.
  • The decision of the judges shall be treated as final and binding.
  • The organizers reserve the right to change mentioned rules as they deem fit.
